their cost.
Getting Started:
We first recommend that you create a new directory for this program
and place all of Desk Commando's files here.
To execute the program, type DESK at the DOS prompt. If you cannot
read the screen clearly at this point, press ESCAPE to exit. In
this case, try again by typing: DESK -c
at the DOS prompt. This turns off color support.
We currently support two different modes of operation, menu-driven
and memory resident. Under either mode, another program can be run
while Desk Commando is in memory. To "pop-back" to Desk Commando
from either mode, press the ALT-SHIFT-D keys simultaneously.
The menu-driven mode is the mode available when run normally. In
this mode, programs may be executed from the defined menu or through
th DOS shell interface. The memory resident option is available by
typing: DESK -r
at the DOS prompt. This then displays the customary DOS prompt,
from which you can run any command you normally do from this point.
To "pop back" to Desk Commando, press the ALT-SHIFT-D keys. When run
in this mode, the user-defined menus are not available. To remove
Desk Commando completely from memory, press CTRL-U while at the Desk
Commando main menu.
